In a time of turmoil surrounding RWBY, about the animation, show quality, a voice actor, CRWBY themselves, it's nice to have this positive take here. The instrumental feels almost gospel-like. It has some of, if not the strongest vocals ever portrayed by Casey. Mainly due to the fact that Ruby DESERVES MORE THAN RED LIKE ROSES II LIKE C'MON GIVE MY BB SOME MORE MUSIC!. I choose to apply parts of it to Ruby, Summer, and Ozma. That being said, this song can also apply to some characters in the show itself. Filled with references to the creator of RWBY, Monty Oum.
RWBY VOLUME 6 SOUNDTRACK FULL
It's always nice to have a super hype song, but literally every other lyrical track on this album is jammed full of emotion. It's only in 7th place due to the lack of any real emotional importance in this song. The speed and delivery of his bars while the instrumental chills out only for it to screech back to life as the chorus repeats is ear-gasmic. The best part is easily Lamar's rap! It's good to see Lamar on this album, and this was the song i expected him to feature on. The wordplay is fantastic and the guitar is STELLAR! If you wanted to make an AMV of the best fights in the show, you could easily use this song. The entire song being filled with nursery rhymes used to insult a midget, racist, robot-piloting, military officer is so satisfying. This is easily one of the most hype songs ever made for this show. Why come back to Forever Fall if there's a song on this exact album that does its job better? That being said, I still love this song (and every other RWBY song), just a bit less than those further up, and its a good conclusion to a Jaune/Pyrrah arc (heh) 6 years in the making. And for me, it's kinda boring to listen to frequently. It's nice to get a bit more of it, as it's been a long time, but it drains the unique value of it. There's a better slow song on this same soundtrack. First is that these songs are so close in quality for me that one being just a tad bit weaker drops it to 8th place. The lyrics and message are sweet, the characters its about I love to death. It's very hard to actually rank Forever Fall, for me. The rest of this album is so beyond difficult to rank already, so I had to place this one at 9. I know Armed and Ready like the back of my hand. Still, the southern-sound of this song is very infectious and puts another very unique song into this already astoundingly different RWBY album. However, not my number 1 choice for an acoustic cover. I'm happy to have a friendly discussion in the comments about your opinions and what you agree/disagree with! Now let's get into it with:Ī very interesting and unique acoustic rendition. I hope its an interesting read for at least some of y'all. I began this list in early July after getting a feeling for this soundtrack and every song on it, and I've just finished it today, mostly due to procrastination. I will take into account the instrumental, vocals, song structure, lyrics, and story for all of these songs. Hello all! This is my ranking of the RWBY Volume 6 soundtrack.
